cloth by artist anna reynolds was a textile project/production that developed during Reynolds’s Master by Research. The physical space was presented as Mangrove Esperanto, an exhibition held at the foyer gallery in the Darwin Entertainment Centre and was part of the 2013 Darwin Festival program.

In 2014 the second incarnation of the textile artworks was housed for 8 months at the Hobson Street Gallery in Queenscliff Vic.

An opportunity to rent a shop/house in Queenscliff progressed the textile work to be understood as Cloth by artist Anna Reynolds shop/studio where Reynolds ran a bespoke garment and textile retail and making space for 2 years.

Reynolds moved from Victoria back to the Northern Territory in 2017 and rented a small shop in the Air Raid Arcade in Darwin’s CBD where she has continued to make and design original art on textile along with several consultation and workshop events.

In 2025 Reynolds closed the doors of to the Darwin space with the intention to reimagine what cloth by artist anna reynolds could be and reopen in 2026.
